As White + Burke’s Vice President, Stephanie provides strategic consulting services to clients and focuses on business planning and business development.
A member of the White + Burke team since 2006, Stephanie (Hainley) Clarke brings a strategic lens to her work with development and land use projects. With keen instincts, an acute command of organization, and an eye for detail, she is a key ingredient on project teams. With clients, she carefully maps out action plans – constantly looking around the corner and keeping things moving. No task is too large or small – from financial analysis and creating timelines to drafting permit applications and negotiating development deals. Stephanie thrives on resolving challenges and bringing projects to a successful conclusion in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Stephanie’s projects at White + Burke include the University of Vermont Medical Center’s Radiation Oncology project, the Hannaford Supermarket in Bradford, and land development planning for SP Land Company in Killington. Since 2010, Stephanie has successfully developed seven TIF (Tax Increment Financing) districts in the State of Vermont, making her the leading author of TIF District Plans in the state.
Stephanie also invests time in business planning with the company president and developing relationships for White + Burke’s long-term success. She continues to build the company’s reputation as one of the best places to work while living a rich, balanced life.
Stephanie is passionate about service and works throughout the community to move the needle on issues around equity, financial literacy, higher education, and diversity & inclusion. Stephanie holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from Champlain College. She loves being a “chosen Vermonter” (someone who has chosen to live in VT), enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and dancing, and spends as much time as possible with her husband and two kids.
