Welcome – From White + Burke President David G. White

Welcome to White + Burke’s completely redesigned website and our new blog. Over the nearly 24 year history of this company, we’ve been involved with some of Vermont’s largest, most significant and sometimes most controversial real estate development projects, as well as smaller projects for local businesses and investors. We work hard to ensure every project meets or exceeds all applicable land use and environmental regulations and we always look to design projects such that they fit well into their host communities aesthetically and economically. As a result, we’re proud of the work we’ve done over the years.

Regardless of the size of the project or who the client is, we consistently focus on one thing: providing the sharpest strategic advice and most effective project management for our clients’ real estate needs, so that they can focus on what they do best – running their businesses.

Along all of our paths – at White + Burke and elsewhere – we’ve learned a lot: about real estate, about community, about strategic thinking, about effective project management, about team-building, about working with neighbors, and about running a dynamic company in a challenging field.

This blog is a place to share what we’ve learned and provide ongoing insights into the industry, our community, and business in general. We will highlight some of our current projects, as well as interesting projects being done by other companies. And we’ll offer observations and analysis of hot topics related to commercial and investment real estate throughout Vermont.

White + Burke has a great team of highly skilled and experienced professionals with expertise in a variety of topics — from site design to professional development, from primary agricultural soils to Form Based Codes. So you won’t be hearing only from me; all of our staff will be offering their unique perspectives.

So, welcome and stay tuned — we’re embarking on a new adventure and we’re glad you’re on board!
