Gail brings more than 30 years of experience in site planning and real estate development to her work as a senior project manager at White + Burke.

Gail Henderson-King brings extraordinary insights to her work on behalf of clients on all facets of development projects. Her more than 30 years’ experience in real estate development in the public and private sectors ranges from strategic analysis and due diligence to team management through design development, permitting and construction, which is invaluable for project development. Gail’s projects include the UVM Medical Center RH Miller Building, public-private partnership project with the City of Plattsburgh, NY and the Outer Limits Brewery in Proctorsville.

Gail is a licensed landscape architect. Prior to joining White + Burke, Gail was senior landscape architect/planner at Lamoureux & Dickinson, planning director for the Town of Milton. She is a trustee for the American Society of Landscape Architects and chair of the Shelburne Tree Advisory Committee. Gail holds a Bachelor of Arts in human ecology from College of the Atlantic and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University.

Gail is a strong supporter of adoption and strengthening connections for children and families of multicultural backgrounds in Vermont. She lives in Shelburne, with her husband, son, and golden retriever and spends her free time running, bicycling, gardening, and doing artistic projects.
