Emily attended Beloit College in Wisconsin, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and history. Following completion of her undergraduate work, Emily spent 18 months working for the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, before returning to school to study in the United Kingdom. Emily earned a Master of Science in environment, science, and society from University College London in 2010, where she focused on concerns central to commercial real estate such as how people perceive their environment, how that influences their economic and space decisions, and how those decisions in turn affect the environment. She is stimulated by the challenge of applying these principles to projects on behalf of White + Burke’s clients.

A devoted traveler, Emily has visited more than 30 countries and is always planning her next adventure. She is also passionate about birding, reading, theater, and photography.
